In Viking society there were three social classes and those classes were the Thralls, Karls and Jarls. These classes were easily recognizable by their appearances. The men and women of Jarls were well groomed and wore more expensive clothing. They wore well-crafted jewelry and belt buckles. They would have worn belts similar to our Jarls Viking Knot and Weave Norse Belt. This belt is constructed of raw hide leather that has been tanned on one side with a smooth black finish. The buckle and end piece are cast antiqued brass with traditional Viking weave and knot work as seen in their culture. This piece will complete any period costume for your next festival or costume party.
