To the Vikings, the belt was in fact, one of the most important parts of their outfit, not only did it keep their trousers from falling down; they also had all their bits and pieces attached to the belt. The belt was one of their vulnerable parts in a fight because if the opponent could strike the belt with their ax, the belt would snap and they would have a hard time fighting while trying to pull up their trousers from the ground. During excavations, mens belts, being of leather, survived history better so we can easily tell what they were like. This belt is made from quality leather and has been dyed brown; all hand stitched with a steel ring to knot your belt. The end that hangs features a Viking weave design. The simple brown will accent any colored tunic perfectly.
