Inu Yasha & It's Must Have Replica Weapons
25th Apr 2015
People get introduced to anime through a variety of channels. Some of us were fans at an early age. Others took an interest after being inspired by unlikely sources. For example, during an interview with Portland-based Northwest hip-hop blog We Out Here Magazine, artist Fountaine spent most of the time discussing his obsession with the genre, getting many people who never even considered anime to take a second look at it.
Once the interest is sparked, then the question becomes, “Where do I start?” IGN attempts to help people in this position with a recent article titled “THE BEST PLACES TO WATCH ANIME ONLINE.” Miranda Sanchez of IGN looks at a number of prominent anime outlets online, including Amazon Prime. She writes, “An Amazon Prime membership is the most expensive way to stream anime at $99 per year, but if you or one of your family members already has an account, it’s a nice resource for watching Pokemon Origins, Bleach, Naruto, Clannad, and a handful of other shows. Amazon definitely has the smallest offering of shows on this list, but it’s worth mentioning because Prime’s streaming is incredibly accessible, as the Amazon Instant Video app is available on mobile devices and all consoles. If you don’t have an Amazon Prime membership, there is a 30-day free trial. Amazon also has a hefty Instant Video anime collection with many seasons and single episodes of shows for purchase. Instant Video streaming is currently limited to the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and Austria.”

For those who are fans of popular anime series Inu Yasha, you can go a step further and get the final season on DVD. Chris Beveridge of the Fandom Post looks at this in a recent article titled “‘Inu Yasha: Final Act’ Complete Anime DVD & BD Collection Coming.” Beveridge writes, “After releasing the series starting back in 2012 on DVD and Blu-ray, Viz Media has now set a May 26th, 2015 release date for the complete Inu Yasha: Final Actseries. The release will have the full twenty-six episode run of the show in bilingual form where it’ll be priced at $44.82 on DVD and $54.98 on Blu-ray. The only extras on the DVD is the original Japanese trailer while the Blu-ray set gets three of those trailers, storyboard art and production artwork.” Beveridge goes on to detail the plot of the series’ final season.
