Fans of Zelda might have to wait for the latest game to come out on Wii U. The Gospel Herald reports on this in a recent story titled “The Legend of Zelda Release Date for Wii U Update and News.”

Mark Rollins of the Gospel Herald writes, “Nintendo could use a good hit for the Wii U, and one thing that would certainly boost sales is a new version of The Legend of Zelda, one of the most popular video game franchises. Unfortunately, its 2015 release will not be happening, and it could easily occur in 2017. More fuel for the fire about a 2017 release date for The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U is a recent Earnings Release for the Fiscal Year which ended on March 31. According to Gamepur, there is a release schedule that does not have The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U on it for 2016.”

For those who can’t wait until 2017, you can always enjoy Zelda on the classic Nintendo 64. In fact, if you’re lucky enough, you can play the game on a custom Zelda Nintendo 64. GameSpot reports on this in a recent article titled “This Custom Zelda N64 Is a Work of Art.” Eddie Makuch of GameSpot writes, “From Belgian artist Vadu Amka comes one of the most beautiful gaming case mods we've ever seen. As discovered by Kotaku, the case you see below is based on iconic N64 RPG The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Overall, the console was made to look worn and ‘ancestral.’ It even has real-looking moss on it. Zelda's ancestral gems are featured on the front, alongside a re-worked Nintendo 64 logo featuring typography similar to what you might see in the game. In addition, Amka built a weathered-looking N64 controller, complete with the Triforce emblem on the front. It's all very impressive, but I think I'd rather keep this on a shelf than actually use it.”

If you can’t get your hands on this piece of art, another way to enjoy Zelda, and specifically, the aesthetic of the game, is with the Accurate Zelda Twilight Princess Link Sword from Armory Replicas. This is the first exact reproduction of Zelda Link's Master Sword to be created in history. It’s not a cheap knock off. This limited supply sword comes with the Hard Scabbard and the design will blow you away.

Whatever replica armory needs you might have, you can’t go wrong with Armory Replicas!
